Students’ Union (Bureau des Etudiants)

Created in 2012, the Students’ Union (BDE) at IAE Pau-Bayonne brings together student projects within the school. BDE reinforces the cohesion in the school, encourages communication between students, administration staff, professors and organises events to develop and promote the image of the school. BDE 64 is organised by a team of 19 permanent members in the campuses of Pau and Bayonne who represent the students and the school for the duration of the university year.

The main roles of BDE are to:

  • create a vibrate student life on the two campuses
  • bring together and encourages student initiatives at IAE
  • establish networks and share information as much within the school as with people outside. Different events are organised throughout the year in order to encourage greater communication and solidarity among the students.

“Our main role is to create a vibrant student life on both campuses, bring people together, encourage greater communication and strengthen the solidarity between the students. We fully support and engage with the various projects lead by the different groups throughout the year.

With passion and motivation, we organise different events throughout the year in order for the students to make the most of out of their time in IAE. And finally, we work in partnership with ImAgE who is the students’ alumni representative for all degree courses.

We rely on our members to support us and be part of our adventure. Let the adventure begin.”

 

 

The duties and projects of BDE

This event is the moment when we present the students with their diplomas at the end of their course, to say goodbye to the second year Master students who leave on placement, to meet with previous students and teachers, but above all to have a good evening together.

This year, the IAE gala was held on Friday 18th December 2015 in the Casino Municipal de Biarritz.

 

 

The WEI: the unmissable event at the start of the year for the integration of the new IAE students!

This year it was in Salou, Spain the 18th, 19th and 20th September 2015.
